Jemima may be confused with the one who was a possible cousin to Benajah (I). Johanna Haggathy (Benajah's wife Elizabeth Pennington's mother?) mentions three Pennington granddaughters in her will. Their names were Mary, Elizabeth, and Jemima. A possible daughter Johanna reportedly married a William Pennington and had an Elizabeth and a Mary, but that Mary was born after 1775 when the will was written. Did Benajah have a daughter named Mary? The daughter Jemima may have been William's or Benajah's. Any info or theories on these people would be helpful.
