Goals of Family Group 12
 
  • Locate Samuel Pennington's parents:  Currently, his parents are unknown.  There are some leads, a Benajah and a James to name a couple.
  • Continue records search:  Census, vitals, and tax records are only a few of the many sources we're researching to find information on this family including Samuel's possible sister Celia Pennington Cornett.
  • Make additions to the database:  The PRA has a database of Pennington families called the John French Master File.  It contains thousands of Penningtons including Samuel's family.  As group leader, I have continued to locate and add family members to this database.  It can be accessed through the PRA's myfamily.com website available to PRA members only.  To join the PRA go to their site at:  http://penningtonresearch.org/organization/membership.htm.
